- Prepare and record monthly journal entries.
- Assist with the month end closing process.
- Reconcile bank activity daily and credit card accounts weekly.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Assist with audit request.
- Process SG&A expenses and prepare check runs.
- Roll forward and reconcile daily transactions.
- Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Monitor W-9 verification process.
- Prepare supplier credit application and submit for approval.
- Assist with sales and payroll tax research and compliance.
- Create and maintain various Excel spreadsheets and analyze results.
- Other duties and special projects as assigned by accounting management.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
- Three to five years of accounting experience.
- Knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with QuickBooks a plus.
- Internet savvy and working knowledge of web based applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Strong ability to multitask.
- Detail Oriented.
