About us:

Crossways Tax Preparation, LLC is a full service boutique public accounting firm located in Melville, NY. Our firm has a diverse client base with commercial clients ranging from 1 million to 70 million in sales. In addition, we also have a large individual income tax practice. What makes our firm different is that we encourage our staffs' full involvement in accounting/tax services offered to and requested by our clients with the support of the partners. Dynamic advancement within our firm is available to any employee able to demonstrate talent, knowledge, and effort.

We are currently looking to fill a staff accountant position.

Early close on Fridays throughout the year
1/2 day Fridays between July 4th and Labor Day Holidays
Tax season bonus
CPE classes fully paid for

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in accounting
1-2 years experience
Proficient in Excel
Experience with Quickbooks, both Desktop and Online, and Lacerte Tax & Ultra Tax a plus
CPA license or in process of obtaining

Duties:

Ability to perform write-ups, compilation and reviews- independently.
Payroll and sales tax preparation
Individual, partnership, corporate, and estate/trust tax return preparation
Financial Statement preparation

Salary:

Salary between $75,000 and $90,000 (commensurate with experience).
