    Underwriting Intern

    About the role:
    DUAL North America, Inc. is seeking an Intern to join the team. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Insurance Summer Intern.

    • $22.00/hr.

    Essential Functions:

    • Support underwriters in evaluating the eligibility of individual applications.
    • Learn about risk assessments and pricing.
    • Assist in maintaining accurate and up to date records.
    • Conduct research on industry trends and summarize findings.
    • Provide administrative support and participate in ad-hoc activities as needed.
    • Other duties as assigned

    Job Requirements (education, experience, skills):

    • Must be currently enrollment in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program, or a recent college graduate.
    • Majoring in risk management, business, finance, or a related field is preferred.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Basic understanding of insurance principles is a plus.
