- Develop production schedules and to maximize utilization of equipment for minimum set-up and maximum operating conditions.
- Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations. Supports merit review program and employee bid process.
- Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assigning duties.
- Interfaces with others in the organization to ensure customer deadlines are met.
- Inspects and measures parts and products to verify conformance to specifications.
- Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
- Recommends and implements measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product. Eliminates waste and develops cost reductions thorough tooling modifications, planned maintenance, etc.
- Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems.
- Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment or 7-10 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in Excel, SAP is a plus
