  • The Central Office Resource Teacher (CORT) position is a
    full time
    11 month vacancy.


The Children and Youth in Transition Department has one full-time, 11-month, four-year grant-funded, math resource teacher vacancy supporting the Operation Learning Experiences Advancing Academic Progress (LEAAP) DoDEA grant to five elementary school sites and one middle school site.


Examples of Duties:

Duties will include but not limited to the following:

  • Developing and co-facilitating professional learning for administrators, educators, and math tutors.
  • Collaborating with other members of our UTK12 math leadership team and district department teams.
  • Codeveloping a professional learning plan with site leaders and educators.
  • Teamteaching with a site educator.
  • Leading lesson study for teams of educators.
  • Support with the development and implementation of tutor schedule.

Minimum Qualifications:

Classroom experience teaching math; experience leading/providing professional development to adult learners; experience working as a team to achieve goals of the grant
