Description
The Financial Systems Analyst acts as support to the Director, Financial Systems. This position is responsible for managing the back-end accounting and procurement systems. The Financial Systems Analyst is responsible for responding to user inquiries, tickets, issues, and concerns.

Additionally, they will work with the Senior Finance team to design and implement system enhancements and improvements to continuously meet the business needs of HEI.


Responsibilities:


  • Acts as system administrator of daily revenue, forecasting, and budgeting systems as well as the general ledger.
  • Manages the procurement systems and ensures proper workflow for approvals is in place at all times to mitigate financial loss.
  • Oversees the financial reporting system and ensures systems are balanced.
  • Assists Transition properties and new user with system training.
  • Supports the corporate office and the rebill process.
  • Coordinates with Financial Planning and Analysis to ensure data cube is refreshing properly with system details.
  • Assists with designing new financial reports.
  • Understands corporate and property needs and use systems knowledge to creatively find solutions.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years accounting/finance experience. Hospitality, real estate or serviceindustry experience preferred.
  • Experience with Hotel Accounting and financial reporting preferred.
  • Knowledge of Hotel Accounting and financial reporting.
  • Resultsdriven individual who does whatever it takes to succeed and loves a challenge.
  • Strong financial systems skills shown either through implementation or integration experiences.
  • Understanding of financial business processes.
  • Effective communicator capable of explaining concepts clearly and credibly across levels of the organization.
  • Strong team player, results oriented, metrics driven and capable of working in a fast paced, changing environment
  • Ability to travel is required
