CTF SOLAR GmbH, located in Laguna Woods, CA, is a leading developer and supplier of CdTe technology for thin-film solar modules.

Our company specializes in taking laboratory and pilot scale processes and transforming them into industrial production techniques. We work closely with specialized partners to design machinery for these processes.

Our technology is used in production lines for CdTe thin-film solar modules all around the world, with a focus on China.

This involves planning and implementing the entire process and metrology equipment, as well as selecting and qualifying equipment and raw material suppliers.

Our first high volume manufacturing factories are located in Chengdu and Handan, China, with an annual capacity of 100 MWP each.

We also have other CTF SOLAR technology Fab projects in progress, with a combined capacity of over 1 GWP.

Our company is fully owned by Chinese company CTIEC, one of the world's top 200 engineering companies based in Shanghai.

To support our continued growth, we are looking to expand our Technology Development team in Dresden.


We are currently seeking an:
Expert in Industrial WET Chem Processes (f/m/d)


Job Description:

  • Provide specifications for wet chemical processing equipment and wet coating process equipment to meet the requirements of our solar manufacturing technology
  • Develop and scale up processes from R&D to high volume manufacturing level
  • Act as a technical interface with equipment suppliers (OEM)
  • Support installation and ramp up phases at customer sites worldwide
  • Coordinate between suppliers and customer
