- Laboratory development projects include designing or overseeing modifications to existing equipment or acquisition of new equipment to perform a wide variety of structural tests.
- Product engineering responsibilities may include development of structural design values and guidelines for Weyerhaeuser products, evaluation of new product opportunities, analysis of manufacturing quality assurance data, participation in plant trials, and representation of Weyerhaeuser's interests in a variety of industry activities.

This engineering position offers a challenging and rewarding career opportunity to work for the ISO 17025 accredited Weyerhaeuser Engineering and Materials Testing Laboratory in Federal Way, WA.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our team of talented engineers to execute structural wood products testing, laboratory development, and product engineering responsibilities.
