Overview:
The Production Designer is responsible for projects under assignment by the Art Director. Projects can include production work related to W.B. Mason catalogs, flyers, marketing campaigns and other company literature.


Responsibilities:


Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Create page layouts for company catalogs, flyers and other marketing tools- Partner with department representatives on collaborative projects, responding to ad hoc requests- Ensure consistency among all marketing collateral- Assist in creating new catalog designs, style sheets and templates- Archive project correspondence and documentation- Maintain digital and paper file systems- Partner with merchandising team on page design and content accuracy- Format images and graphics to current specifications for print and web- Troubleshoot to resolve production issues- Use current standard software to produce print-quality PDF files for printer- All other projects as assigned


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to handle a variety of assignments simultaneously in a very fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines consistently- Excellent communications skills (verbal and written); Must be able to communicate with multiple parties about multiple projects in a clear and effective way.- Motivated self-starter, but also a good collaborator- Available to work extra hours during peak periods


Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience- Bachelor of Arts Degree- 5 years of experience in production and design- Mac-based InDesign Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat
