- Facilitate virtual focus-group discussions, interviews, and participatory research methods
- Review background research, identify gaps, and develop a strategic research approach

- Document project process through photos and videos for case studies
- Ideation and Prototype development
- Translate research findings into user-centered prototypes
- Test and validate ideas with users, iterate prototypes as needed
- Document creative process and decisions based on findings
- Strategy Development
- Collaborate with customers to develop strategies based on research insights
- Lead strategic discussions with stakeholders
- Execute HCD strategy
- UI/UX Design and Execution
- Design prototypes to communicate concepts effectively
- Design artifacts that meet business requirements
- Provide UI/UX Expertise to support software development teams
- Dive into user-experience and local context applying behavior change principles
- Have a keen eye for detail and high standards for quality
- Make strategic recommendations backed by sound rationalizations
- Formal education in Design (Masters Degree a plus)
- Minimum 7 years experience in Design or Consultancy
- Proficiency in Graphic Design and English
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time
- Lead design teams and manage multiple projects
- Understanding of digital UX and global web platforms
- Experience in Human Centered Systems Thinking
- Proficiency in Design tools like Figma, Sketch, Mural, Miro

IHI is seeking a Senior Human Centered Design Practitioner/Consultant to join the team. The HCD Consultant will lead and facilitate Human Centered Design projects and collaborate with software development teams.
The ideal candidate possesses a curious mind, excels in problem-solving, and has exceptional people skills along with creative solutions.

Responsibilities
Desired Experience and Qualifications
User-Centered Design: Experience in qualitative research, persona development, customer journey mapping, and visualizing user-experience flows. Ability to adapt and adjust in challenging situations.
Facilitation: Conduct workshops with participants at varying levels, creating an inclusive and engaging experience.
Creative and Design Abilities: Proficient in concept development, understanding design principles, and experience with rapid prototypes/mockups.
People Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, empathetic, responsible, and curious about human behavior.
Communication Skills: Professional communicator, able to present ideas effectively.
