They organize the collection and sorting of garbage, send it for recycling, and dispose of it in an environmentally friendly manner.

They also organize the use of vehicles for waste collection and optimize routes.

Duration and Process
The training lasts for three years. During this time, you will alternate between practical and theoretical training. During your practical training, you will work and be trained in various companies within the Stadtwerke Halle Group. The theoretical training will take place at a corresponding vocational school.

Training Salary
The amount of the training salary depends on which company within the Stadtwerke Halle Group you are assigned to. There is a valid collective agreement in place, which also determines the training salary.

Career Opportunities

After completing the training as a specialist in waste and recycling management, you can further your education as a master, state-certified technician, or trainer.
