Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients.


Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
• Take digital dental xrays
• Perform basic dental procedures, such as cleanings and fluoride treatments
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
• Maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical record systems
• Follow infection control protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment
• Take and record vital signs of patients
• Assist with medical coding and billing processes
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow

Skills:

• Proficiency in infection control protocols and practices
• Familiarity with medical coding and billing processes
• Ability to take accurate vital signs of patients
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Attention to detail in medical documentation
• Familiarity with medical imaging technology is preferred

Pay:
$ $22.41 per hour
