Associate Loan Originator

What You Will Do

Associate Loan Originators will handle all inbound SEO leads, 'jump ball' calls, and a significant portion of leads from property-based lead generation platforms.

Their primary focus will be on direct retail business, particularly Single-Family Residences (SFR), with Multifamily or large portfolio requests referred out.

• Drive new loan sales by initiating investor, mortgage broker, and realtor relationships.
• Maintain client database for effective use of contact management tools and CRM.
• Meet call and talktime quotas set by leadership.
• Understand clients' borrowing needs and related credit worthiness through the initial interview process.
• Work with clients to obtain initial documentation for submission to underwriting/processing.
• Communicate with clients to ensure completeness and accuracy of required information.
• Maintain a strong pipeline to meet clearly defined and achievable loan production targets.
• Monitor pipeline reports to determine the status of all loans.
• Additional related duties, as required.

Experience and Skills Required:

Minimum of 1 year in residential or commercial lending.

Minimum of 1 year

Sales Experience:
Demonstrated sales or customer service proficiency

Mortgage Industry Experience:
Preferred familiarity with loan products, underwriting processes, and industry regulations.

Real estate investment understanding preferred.


Education:

Bachelor's Degree (preferred)


Skills:

Excellent phone and people skills

Ability to analyze real estate investments and communicate loan structures.

Proficiency in MS Excel and willingness to learn new software (CRM, Loan Origination, etc.)

Strong written and verbal communication

Organized with an attention to detail and time management.
