A Japan-based company our goal is to make people smile by delivering breakthroughs where no adequate treatments currently exist working from drug discovery to product development and commercialization In North America we are headquartered in Princeton NJ with offices in California Massachusetts and Ontario Senior Medical Science Liaisons MSLs at Kyowa Kirin are the field-based extension of our Medical Affairs department MSLs are scientifically trained professionals who possess strong clinical and/or scientific backgrounds whose role is to be a resource of fair-balanced and scientifically rigorous information to the healthcare community Essential Functions Identify establish and maintain professional relationshipsand dialogue with international national regionaland local key opinion leadersand allied healthcare professionals Educate healthcare professionals manage market professionals on Kyowa Kirins product portfolio Ensure appropriate dissemination of transparent fair-balanced scientificand clinical information knowledge services in timely compliant ethical customer-focused manner Function as regional medical/scientific resource work pair external stakeholder needs with available resources Gather data generate actionable insights competitive intelligence provide quality feedback headquarters Demonstrate high level proficiency developing delivering educational resourcesclinical information established need/request Independently liaise investigatorsKyowawith unsolicited investigator-initiated studies Liaise Clinical Operations support companysponsored studies required Engage timely fair-balanced exchangesHCPsin response unsolicited requestsinformation related products Independently lead attend providescientificsupport international national regionallocal medicalconferences Actively participate advisory boards clinicalinvestigator meetingsrequired Lead deliver internal educational training sessions stakeholders disease state therapeutic landscape product information Build cultivate working relationshipscross-functionally compliance guidelines Engage continued independent learning therapeutic area Adherence all companypolicies Provide mentoring support MSLSenior Immunology Medical Science Liaison– West
