Description

Regenerative Medical Group is seeking a well-experienced professional to manage the day-to-day documentation responsibility for a thriving and innovative medical practice in Orange.

This role includes document management, coordination, and communication between various departments including front desk, back office, billing, business office, administration, finance, and virtual clinicians.

Experience in document management and the naming convention is necessary, as is experience in Electronic Medical Records.


Responsibilities:

Document Handling and Control: Manage the intake, cataloging, and storage of medical and non-medical documents. Ensure that all documents are accurately labeled and filed.

Document Naming Conventions: Develop and implement consistent document naming conventions to ensure that all files are organized and easily accessible. Regularly review and update these conventions as needed to keep up with organizational changes and regulatory requirements.

Compliance and Confidentiality: Maintain stringent compliance with legal and regulatory requirements regarding document handling, confidentiality, and data protection.

Digital Management: Utilize electronic document management systems (EDMS) to scan, store, and manage documents digitally. Ensure all digital files are backed up and protected.

Retrieval Efficiency: Respond to requests for document retrieval in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that all borrowed documents are tracked and returned to their proper location.

Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the document filing system. Implement corrective actions as needed.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including legal, compliance, and IT, to ensure that documentation practices align with company policies and procedures.

Qualification Requirements:


  • Previous working experience as a Document Control Specialist in a Medical Practice for a minimum 3 years of total experience.
  • Holds a bachelor degree: minimum.
  • Bilingual: preferably Spanish.

Pay:
$ $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
