Job Title:
Construction Quality Control Manager


Our client is looking for a Construction Quality Control Manager (CQCM) that is in possession of a current TS/SCI clearance.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage and perform daily QC responsibilities of specific projects to ensure they are constructed in accordance with established minimum standards
  • Directly oversee and review entire documentation and physical inspection phase of work flow process
  • Work with inhouse and external personnel to produce and document a quality product
  • Create, update, and maintain project submittal log and all other projectspecific QC reports
  • Conduct periodic followup inspections to verify that work is proceeding with the contract documents and the approved submittals

Required Skills and Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field
  • Experience in a construction quality control management role
  • Knowledge of construction industry standards, practices, and techniques
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Degree in engineering or construction management preferred
  • Experience in the construction industry with a commercial and/or industrial general contractor engaged in general building construction
  • Working knowledge of civil, architectural, mechanical and electrical work
  • Knowledge of the sequencing of work and the strategy of creating effective project schedules
  • Proficient with computer software used in the construction industry.
