- The position will give the student opportunities to learn and apply Health, Safety &/or Environmental principals within a production environment
- Coordinate and manage day-to-day activities to meet all Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) standards established by applicable law or regulation
- The student will be given projects centered around health safety and/or environment
- Update of the sites Job Safety Analyses (JSAs)
- Create/Update Lockout Tagout Procedures utilizing Brady 360
- Assist in the continual improvement of the Field Service Safety Program.
- Continuous participation in trainings related to Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) topics
- Coordinates and communicates with other departments as needed to support team objectives
- As a member of the EHS team, assist the EHS Manager to promote safety awareness for safety issues/concern to include developing and distributing communications and follows up to ensure corrective or preventative measures have been implemented
- Maintains EHS files and records
- Perform other duties and projects as requested and assigned by the EHS Manager
- Understand current need and deficiencies for EHS courses within the organization
- Exposure to environmental, industrial hygiene, and safety disciplines
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future
- Must be working towards a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Engineering or an equivalent degree.
