Description
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the seamless progression of manufacturing processes on the production floor.
- Coordinate daily production activities, promptly addressing and resolving operational issues.
- Ensure a safe, orderly, and sanitary workspace, and develop work schedules and staffing requirements.
- Complete all reporting and recordkeeping requirements, aiming to improve plant efficiency and product quality.
- Manage team activities, supervise project completion, and partake in crafting safety protocols.
- Maintain consistent communication with clients management and coordinate with forklift operators.
- Monitor production lines for compliance, ensuring accurate inventory tracking and reporting.
- Regularly review production, inventory levels, and shipping documents for precision and completeness.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word.
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Warehouse Management System (WMS) software.
- Understanding of warehouse and manufacturing operations, including inventory and quality management.
- Capability to perform basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, fractions, and decimals.
- Skilled in operating standard office equipment and able to maintain activity for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for coordinating across teams and with clients.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and train staff, fostering a culture of growth and learning.
- Proven experience with material handling equipment, such as stretch wrappers and forklifts.
- Ability to perform regular checks on production lines and maintain accurate records for management, customer, and audit purposes.
- Strong attention to detail for verifying label accuracy and managing inventory levels.
Physical Requirements:
- Comfortable operating a keyboard and mouse for an 8hour shift.
- Physically capable of navigating the facility, including the ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
Pay:
$55, $70,000.00 per year
