We have flexible schedules to accommodate your busy lifestyle.


Shift Available:


  • Monday through Friday: 8:30am 2pm or pick and chose your date and times you can work, we are flexible

What Qualifications You'll Need:


  • Minimum of 18 years of age
  • Experience and/or a passion for working with the special needs population
  • American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification preferred but willingness to attain
  • Strong swimming background

What You'll Do:


  • Must have experience and/or a passion for working with the special needs population.
  • Under direct supervision of the Aquatic Leader, the Lifeguard is expected to ensure a safe, clean, and enjoyable aquatic environment for YMCA members and participants.
  • Ensure safety of all individuals in the pool area by being on deck, watching all activity in and around the pool, walking around the pool area, constantly remaining alert while on duty, enforcing all pool rules, recognize emergencies and rescue individuals in stress.
  • Maintain current certifications and physical fitness.
  • Perform endurance swims and rescue procedures at required monthly inservice meetings.
