    Title: Systems Engineer

    Duration: 6 months contract to hire

    Location: Fully Remote

    Travel requirements: 20-30% (primarily in the Western US region)

    We are in search of a Systems Engineer to join a growing manufacturing organization. You be responsible for the maintenance and support of operating and information systems, along with troubleshoot system problems and ensuring timely system upgrades. Other duties will include:

    • Maintain, update, and optimize on-prem and cloud systems including Azure AD, Intune, Office 365, Windows Servers, Active Directory, Exchange, VMWare, Cisco UCS, and SQL Server.
    • Administer on-prem systems (physical and virtual hardware, Cisco UCS, Microsoft Windows servers) and cloud services (Azure AD, Office 365, Intune).
    • Manage updates and backups using SCCM, WSUS, and Veeam.
    • Lead and assist in infrastructure projects and implement business solutions as needed.
    • Integrate systems and applications from acquisitions and conduct system performance audits and correct errors.

    Requirements:

    • 3-5 years of experience in systems engineering (ideally in large enterprise Windows environments).
    • Working knowledge of IT service management practices, Windows servers, and data management systems.
    • Familiarity with Microsoft systems (Windows 10 & Server 2016+, Office 365, Azure, AD, group policies, Exchange, SCCM, SharePoint, Dynamics CRM), VMware and Hyper-V environments, SANs, and backup & disaster recovery.
    • Strong Active Directory experience including group policy experience and creating new domains. - needs to understand how different domains are put together and can get new domains up and running (group policies as well)
    • Strong troubleshooting skills across virtual machines and experience administering on-perm and cloud services with Azure.
    • Any MS certifications would be a huge plus
