- Operate mammography radiographic equipment for diagnostic and screening imaging.
- Communicate effectively with the Radiologist to ensure optimal image quality.
- Prepare patients for exams and provide clear explanations to alleviate any concerns.
- Perform mammography exams and other diagnostic x-ray procedures following established protocols.
- Assist in specialized breast exams or procedures under physician guidance.
- Conduct general x-ray exams and bone density tests when necessary.
- Monitor patient's condition during exams and promptly report any abnormalities.
- Ensure proper documentation and labeling of images and specimens.
- Maintain equipment, supplies, and cleanliness of the procedure room.
- Prioritize Patient Safety and Service Excellence in all interactions.
- Foster a culture of trust, communication, and inclusion in alignment with Northwell Health's values.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards in imaging quality and safety.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- NY State Department of Health licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
- ARRT registration in Mammography.
- Minimum of 200 mammography exams performed within the last 24 months.

Our team at 1421 3rd Avenue, New York, NY 10028, consists of over 30 individuals proficient in CT, MRI, US, X-ray, Dexa, Mammography, and PET CT, working closely with Northwell's 250+ subspecialty trained Radiologists to enhance healthcare services for the community.
