Division 7 is currently seeking an
Architectural
CAD Drafter to join our team D7 is a progressive and successful family business, based in Riverside, CA. We specialize in the fabrication and installation of architectural sheet metal, siding, metal cladding and roofing for commercial projects.


Primary Responsibility and Qualification:


Must have references and proven past work history record. This position typically works M-F 8am to 5pm 8-hour shift

Responsibilities:

• Use software to create detailed 2D designs for complex projects
• Develop and revise quality shop drawings and submittals from concept to completion within industry, architectural and Division 7 Services, Inc. standards/specifications
• Read and interpret client and internal drawing sets and mark ups
• Be able to correct red lines and work with paper space view ports, scale factors, xrefs, drawing tabs, wblocks and pdf files
• Work within standardize AutoCAD processing for: Border, line weight, templates, layouts, and dimensions
• Oversee and contribute to AutoCAD Library/Archive
• Follow directions and respond to Supervisor and Project Managers inquiries and requests in a timely and efficient manner
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor and Project Managers

QUALIFICATIONS

• An associate degree or equivalent experience in Architectural Drafting
• 2+ years of Computer Aided Drafting experience
• An extensive
  knowledge of AutoCAD & Bluebeam software:
• Firm grasp of mathematics, engineering, and industry information
• Excellent organizational/prioritization skills and attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Strong Communication with Supervisors, Peers or Subordinates
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
• Excellent computer and technology skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently
