Potency is looking for a budtender to join the retail team in Pittsfield, Massachusetts.


Job Summary

Our current needs are for a full time employee that has a
flexible schedule and is comfortable working
nights and weekends.

This persons schedule will vary between 32-40 hours per week.

We do our best to ensure consistent schedules whenever possible, but this is a dynamic retail setting and as such things can change based on the needs of the business at a given time.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide customer service that builds longterm rapports within the community
• Provide expert knowledge on all cannabis recommendations
• Discuss product effects, potency, dosing, and methods of consumption with customers
• Accurately receive, prepare, and complete orders and sales
• Always maintain proper cash handling procedures
• Maintain accurate records including customer records in accordance with the Cannabis Control Commission of Massachusetts as well as any regulations set forth by local, state, or federal agencies.
• Assist with stocking and cleaning during down time

Other Requirements

• Ensure self and uniform clothing are clean and professional
• Extended time sitting, walking, bending, and reaching is possible
• Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds for a distance of 50 feet
• Must pass stringent state background check requirements
• Minimum of 21 years of age required by law
• Possess valid driver's license or state ID card
• Ability to reliably work both nights and weekends.

Qualifications

Education:
High School or equivalent


Work Experience:

Retail Associate & Cashier: 1 year preferred

Customer Service: 1 year preferred
