Your tasks

  • Search for tool suppliers and tool technologies
  • Creation of tool specifications
  • Initiation of orders for internal and external tool procurement process and tracking of deadlines
  • Analysis and optimization of used tools, conducting profitability calculations, cost planning & control
  • Coordination with production, tool presetting, design, work preparation, toolmaking and purchasing
  • Creation of tool plans, maintenance of master data
  • Release of new tools for production
  • Participation in setup time optimizations
  • Training and qualification of employees on new tool technologies
  • Participation in projects
Your profile
  • You have successfully completed a degree in industrial engineering or mechanical engineering or a completed technical training with additional qualification as an industrial master (m/f/d), technician (m/f/d) or business administrator (m/f/d)
  • Professional experience in an industrial environment is advantageous.
  • Sound knowledge in the field of manufacturing technology (casting, machining, assembly) is advantageous.
  • Analytical thinking skills as well as practical experience in workflow and workplace design and very good IT skills (MS Office, SAP R/3, production data acquisition and statistical evaluations) are required.
