Key Responsibilities:

Travel to JSB client sites by public transportation or your personal car
Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with JSB standards
Provide comprehensive training for new security guards on site
Participate in and assist with training classes led by managers
Conduct security post inspections and regular checkins
Prepare detailed reports for every site visit
Observe, document, and report any potential hazards or issues affecting security guards, JSB, or our clients
Respond to onsite incidents and prepare detailed incident and log reports
Provide onsite coaching and training for guards and security professionals
Address and correct any inappropriate performance by security guards
Enforce JSB's policies and procedures by issuing writeups when necessary
Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times
Hold post as needed at any site
Other duties as needed

Requirements:

3 years of proven security supervisor experience
Valid New York State Security Guard License
Ability to quickly obtain sitespecific certifications, including OSHA 10 Hour Construction & Safety, Fireguard S60 & S95, TWIC
High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
Flexible work schedule, including weekends
Comfortable working outdoors
Strong team management skills, including scheduling and coverage
Excellent communication skills to deescalate situations effectively
Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Command of the English language and ability to communicate clearly
Proficiency in using smartphones and tablets
Professional demeanor and appearance
Minimum age requirement of 18 years old (or as per state regulations)
Authorized to legally work in the United States
Successful completion of a drug test with negative results
Pass an extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verification, as well as Department of Motor Vehicle and credit checks, if applicable
If prior military, must be able to provide a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, upon job offer
