National fire and flood remediation company looking to add Construction Purchasing Agent to our team_

The
Construction Purchasing Agent will contract, buy out, solicit and quantify bids for our reconstruction projects. If you are self-motivated, organized and have outstanding purchasing skills, you could thrive in this environment


Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluating suppliers by considering price, quality, availability and other criteria
  • Interviewing vendors and visiting suppliers' facilities to learn about products, services and pricing
  • Negotiating contracts with vendors and suppliers to obtain the best deals on behalf of the company
  • Interacting with suppliers to schedule delivery times and resolve shipping errors
  • Collaborate and assist with other departments, as needed

Position Requirements

  • 5+ years of previous purchasing experience
  • High school diploma/GED (preferred)
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills
  • Ability to multitask and to remain detail orientated

Pay:
$100,000-$120,000/year
