Project Assistants are like assistant stage managers, helping oversee each team and making sure we reach our deadlines, so the curtain goes up by showtime.

You may not literally carry a clipboard, but that's what you'll essentially be doing in this role—checking items off and making sure each person on the team follows their cues.

You'll work closely with consultants, project managers, writers and designers to help guide these projects from start to finish.

We are looking for people who are friendly and communicative, who possess a high attention to detail, are creative, flexible, organized and able to prioritize tasks while working independently.

A day in the life of an Assistant Project Manager

Attend calls to understand project and timeline

Communicate with internal teams (consultants, project managers, writers, designers, etc.) regularly to keep projects on track

Manage multiple projects and campaigns simultaneously and provide project status reports

Review and resolve edits

Track project financials to ensure invoices are accurate and submitted on time

Manage third party vendors, which involves scheduling, coordinating and evaluating vendor performance in completing tasks in a timely manner and with utmost quality to ensure client satisfaction

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to compose clear and concise correspondence.


WORK ENVIRONMENT
Remote professional office environment (office equipment including a laptop with the requisite software and/or phone will be provided).

You may be remote but you won't be alone - you'll meet our team members during new employee training, keep in touch through Microsoft Teams and catch up with everyone over Zoom sessions.

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essentials. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

Bachelor (of Art/Science) Degree preferred

At least two years of project management in a professional environment

Print management experience preferred

Experience working with Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Office Suite and professional project management software (Workfront preferred)
