The skills and experience required for this position include:

  • Familiarity with a broad range of technical and financial issues related to construction, program management, master planning, water distribution, sewer collection, stormwater and roadway systems, civil engineering, and real estate development challenges.
  • Technical problem solving abilities with experience in evaluating, planning, designing, and constructing public infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with local, state (Massachusetts), and federal regulations for infrastructure and real estate redevelopment projects, and knowledgeable on Massachusetts procurement laws and public bidding
  • Comfort and experience engaging with clients, regulators, residents / constituents, and contractors.
  • Ability to support marketing initiatives, proposals, and interviewing efforts.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and Revu BlueBeam and familiar with AutoCAD.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a consulting or public construction role.
  • B.S. Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science, M.S. Degree preferred.
  • Professional registrations and certifications (e.g., PE, CSL, MCPPO OPM) are a plus.
  • Experience with Architectural / Engineering or Construction firms is preferred.
  • Must have a reliable car and drivers license for commuting to project sites.

Job Responsibilities to start would include:

  • Taking direct lead over the management and execution of various project tasks and assignments, preparing deliverables that move toward project goals as directed by the Partners.
  • Provide technical and financial review and advisory insights into project strategy and execution.
  • Collaborate with project teams of coworkers and stakeholders to advance the needs of our clients.
  • Create and deliver reports and products, analyze data, and prepare summary reports of detailed information.
  • Monitor project and task budgets and schedules.
  • Coordinating and scheduling meetings, maintaining and manage project schedules, and participate in Client meetings.
  • Travel to local areas for site review and project meetings.
  • Maintain overall understanding of existing clients and active projects.

This is a full time position budgeted for 40 hours per week. Business hours are Monday - Friday from 8-5pm.
