KPG has partnered with a busy and Essential Manufacturer for a Direct Hire opportunity. Our client is seeking a Help Desk Analyst.

Pay: $ $40.00

The Service Desk Analyst role entails providing technical assistance to internal users by addressing IT support requests and resolving issues related to network, hardware, and software on various devices, including computers, tablets, and phones.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage incoming help desk requests promptly, ensuring positive issue resolution, following up with customers, and documenting all work in the Service Desk system.
• Support and maintain client asset management, including inventory, updates, repairs, replacements, and new purchases.
• Assist in VoIP system administration concerning employee changes.
• Provide support for backend client services, covering areas like antivirus, user access, and network administration.
• Offer support for client/server software applications used in business processes and conduct necessary user training.
• Collaborate with the IT team to facilitate application changes, ensuring compliance and quality standards during deployment.
• Perform preventive system maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Support third-party applications integrated with client/server software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, CATIA, AutoCAD).
• Set a superior customer service example with a positive attitude and a sense of urgency in responding to customer needs.
• Collaborate across the organization, establishing trust as a valued business partner.
• Work independently and professionally to meet business expectations.
• Undertake any additional duties reasonably assigned by management.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of desk side support experience
• 2+ years of experience in supporting Windows desktop operating systems and Microsoft Office applications
• 2+ years of experience with desktop imaging tools
• 2+ years of experience supporting enterprise Anti-Virus/Anti-Malware tools
• 2+ years of experience supporting users with remote management tools
• 2+ years of experience supporting mobile devices
• 2+ years of experience supporting peripheral devices, including wireless peripherals (e.g., bar code scanners, printers, etc.)
• Must possess Department of Defense Secret Security Clearance and maintain it throughout employment
• This position must meet Export Control Compliance requirements, requiring a "US Person" as defined by 22.C.F.R.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
• Technical certifications such as compTIA A+, Net+, Security+
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
