CURRENT OPPORTUNITY:
Project Manager

***The role of the Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalize construction projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This person should be a team player who works and communicates well with people at all levels while maintaining full ownership of assigned responsibilities. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee commercial mechanical and/or plumbing construction projects to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design specifications, budget and schedule
  • Review project plans and specifications, build project schedules, make recommendations of potential costsaving measures and identify potential construction problems
  • Complete job cost breakdowns, schedule of values, and review / approve project billings
  • Work with general contractors, vendors and subcontractors to coordinate project schedules, RFIs and change orders
  • Order mechanical and/or plumbing materials as required and ensure delivery in accordance to project schedules
  • Coordinate with field superintendents on manpower needs, adjusting as needed
  • Conduct and attend preconstruction and post construction meetings
  • Manage multiple projects varying in scope simultaneously
  • Continuous communication with office personnel, GC, owner and others as needed
  • Complete all required documentation electronically
  • Perform other related duties or special projects, as assigned

EDUCATION, TRAINING, LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS

  • 35 yrs total experience (minimum 3 yrs of commercial mechanical or plumbing experience and a 3yrs in project management)
  • Experience on commercial mechanical or plumbing construction projects including healthcare, medical gas, educational, institutional, military and others
  • Management of projects ranging in size and scope from $50k1 mil
  • Experienced with project cost to complete, project financials and project close outs
  • OSHA 10 Hour preferred
  • Mechanical or Plumbing license preferred

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Requires mechanical aptitude, mathematical and English language skills.
  • Maintain a positive, cooperative and teachable attitude
  • Able to teach, coach and/or mentor others
  • Complies and promotes company Safety Policy
  • Initiative; selfmotivated (driven), selfstarter.
  • Excellent communication and customer services skills.
  • Analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Professional demeanor with a positive, coaching and teaching attitude
  • Technological proficiency to include Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to stand, squat, bend, stoop and comfortably lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Familiarity with blueprint, schematic, drawings, and other equipment layout materials
  • Ability to pass a full background screening and drug screening
  • Ability to pass MVR check
  • Ability to pass a physical ability test
  • Ability to travel, as needed, for projects or training
