Medical Receptionist - Beverly, United States - Interventional Pain Associates of MA

Description

We are professional, agile and our goal is to maintain a warm and welcoming environment to treat adult patients in acute and chronic pain with injections and interventions to help minimize the use of medications.

• Greet and checkin patients upon arrival
• Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual
• Schedule appointments and update patient information in the system
• Verify insurance information and collect copays or payments
• Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality
• Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
• Coordinate referrals to specialists or other healthcare providers
• Handle patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service

• Prefer EPIC EHR experience
• Previous experience working as a medical receptionist or in a similar role is preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
• Proficient in using phone systems and computer software for scheduling and record keeping
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
