Description

Selling Preventive Maintenance contracts for generator emergency power in the Industrial, Commercial, Healthcare, Education and all other viable markets throughout New Hampshire and New England.

Will also be responsible for promoting and selling rentals for our emergency generator rental fleet consisting of portable generators from 20kw to 2000kw.

Must be a road warrior and enjoy getting out in the field. This is a field/road-based position and will require 60%-75% travel visiting customer sites and prospecting throughout New England.

  • Prospect new customers, maintain current business relationships and accounts.
  • Develop and expand market presence for Power Up Generator Service Co.
  • Achieve sales goals and forecasts, as established by the department and the organization.
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems, issues or complaints.
  • Attend sales and trade meetings as required
  • Provide management oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, market situation, competitive activities, and potential for PM contracts or repair (T&M) opportunities.
  • Conduct all business transactions in an ethical manner.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree preferred, minimum of High School Diploma. Three years minimum outside sales experience, with experience in the power generation industry preferred.

  • Abie to read and comprehend bids and contracts with ability to complete said bids/contracts both correctly and efficiently
  • Highly organized with ability to selfmanage and prioritize tasks to be completed in most efficient manner
  • Ability to get along well with a variety of personalities and individuals, and to work well alone and as a team member.
  • Ability to effectively present information publicly.
  • Ability to effectively build relationships with customers and coworkers.
  • Able to learn new computer software easily as applicable to the business and position requirements.
Position includes laptop, car allowance, 401k with match, full medical benefits and 2 weeks' vacation to start. Compensation includes base salary, bonus, and commission plan.

From $65,000.00 per year
