Are you a skilled Diesel Mechanic with experience in the waste hauling industry? We're seeking a talented professional to join our team at a respected organization in the transportation sector.

Position: Diesel Mechanic (with Waste Hauling Experience)

Responsibilities:

Perform maintenance and repairs on diesel engines used in waste hauling vehicles, including garbage trucks, roll-off trucks, and other specialized equipment.
Conduct routine inspections and diagnostic tests to identify and resolve mechanical issues promptly.
Repair and replace components such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and hydraulic systems to ensure reliable performance.
Troubleshoot electrical systems and perform repairs as needed to keep vehicles operational.
Adhere to preventive maintenance schedules and follow manufacturer guidelines for servicing waste hauling equipment.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts inventory, and service history.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic, with specific experience in the waste hauling industry.
Relevant certifications or technical training in diesel engine repair and maintenance.
Strong understanding of waste hauling equipment and hydraulic systems.
Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical issues in diesel-powered vehicles.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
