Sales and Customer Support Specialist

Introduction

We are looking for a Sales and Customer Support Specialist to join our Sales and Services Team. You will assist site account managers in handling current and new sales opportunities, providing timely information to customers while following Metso's processes and policies, and employing effective customer and sales support practices. Your role is crucial as you collaborate closely with customer contacts, account managers, the customer service team, and internal departments as a customer support liaison. This role reports to Tina Edmonds, Services Inside Sales & Contract Manager.

This role is primarily based in Phoenix, Arizona, but we offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options, with up to 30% travel within Phoenix.

Team you belong to

You will be part of a team of Sales and Customer Support Specialists responsible for stakeholder communication and relationship management involving customers, suppliers, and internal units.

What you'll do

- Manage FCX-Metso LineOfSight2.0 planning and coordination meetings
- Facilitate lessons learned, identify improvement opportunities, and provide feedback
- Attend customer meetings and site visits
- Handle special projects as needed
- Collaborate with the customer service team for warranty process support
- Update information in Installed Base
- Provide technical and cost input for sales cases and proposals
- Adhere to Metso Safety standards and complete required trainings for customer site visits

Who you are

- 3+ years of experience in customer relationship management
- Familiarity with SAP and CRM is advantageous
- Strong skills in customer, vendor, and internal communication
- Excellent client management and business literacy skills
- Effective interpersonal and negotiation abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for relationship building and achieving results
- Capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of domestic and international matters to meet objectives
- Flexible and ready to engage with customers when required
- Proactive in identifying and addressing customer needs
