- Collaborate with clients to assess their environmental compliance needs and develop strategies to ensure compliance with air, wastewater, and waste regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and submit permit applications, environmental reports, and plans to regulatory agencies.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Perform environmental modeling and calculations to assess the impact of operations on air quality, water quality, and waste management.
- Develop and implement environmental management systems to monitor and track compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in environmental regulations and ensure the organization's compliance with all state and federal requirements.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members regarding environmental compliance issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement environmental best practices and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct training sessions for employees to raise awareness and ensure understanding of environmental compliance requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in environmental or chemical engineering, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in environmental compliance.
- Extensive experience in preparing permit applications for air, wastewater, and waste regulatory requirements.
- Strong knowledge of state and federal environmental regulations.
- Proficiency in environmental modeling and calculations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Professional certifications in environmental engineering or related fields are a plus.
