Description

Full-time The department "Central Services and Event Management" supports the employees of the Fraunhofer Society in event management and acts as an internal service provider for the employees of the Fraunhofer headquarters.

The service area "Central Services" includes the departments "General Services / Training", "Technical Facility Management and Occupational Safety" as well as the "B4 Management Service".

As the department head, you are responsible for monitoring, ensuring and optimizing the functionality and operational readiness of technical systems and facilities, including relevant inspection obligations, while adhering to safety and legal regulations (e.g. high-rise building regulations, SPrüfV, fire protection regulations, etc.). You will also be responsible for the strategic development of technical standards, such as energy and maintenance management.

You will work together with external specialist engineers, architects and planning offices for renovation and modification projects of buildings, and manage the project implementation of internal construction and renovation measures.

In addition, you will take on maintenance and facility management, including contract management, monitoring and documentation.

You will also prepare performance specifications in technical facility management, obtain offers from external service providers in accordance with public procurement law, and be responsible for commissioning, construction supervision, billing and controlling.

You will be the contact person for authorities such as the fire department, the environmental protection department, and other inspection organizations (e.g. VdS, TÜV, etc.), and work closely with the property management/object management of leased spaces. Construction Engineering Facility
