Job Summary:


The Solar Proposal Manager will be responsible for managing the proposal development process from concept to submission, ensuring that proposals meet customer requirements and align with the company's strategic objectives.

This role requires strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to create compelling and competitive solar project proposals.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead a team that designs and develops detailed proposals for solar panel systems based on customer needs and site assessments.
  • Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to ensure proposals are technically sound and financially feasible.
  • Understand and explain various financing options including purchases and leases to prospective clients.
  • Maintain uptodate knowledge of solar regulations, incentives, and trends that may impact proposal development.
  • Manage proposal submissions and follow up to ensure alignment with client expectations and company standards.
  • Train and support team members on best practices for proposal development and solar system design.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in proposal management, technical writing, or business development, preferably in the solar or renewable energy industry.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple proposals simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and editing skills, with the ability to create clear and compelling proposal content.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and other proposal management tools.
