Description

Groveport is looking for a skilled and experienced safety specialist (m/f/d) with a background in either management or technical training.

This position is located in Germany, specifically in Darmstadt and Weiterstadt.

Responsibilities:

  • Independently advise employees, supervisors, and works council in accordance with occupational safety laws
  • Inspect facilities, equipment, and installations for compliance with legal requirements and report any identified deficiencies
  • Assist in designing workstations and processes, as well as participating in the creation of workplace analyses and hazard assessments
  • Develop concepts for monitoring and influencing employee behavior
  • Record and investigate incidents and create statistics
  • Participate in the companywide selection and implementation of personal protective equipment
  • Responsible for negotiations and correspondence with authorities and professional associations in the handling of accidents and occupational diseases

Requirements:

  • Successfully completed master's or technician training or a comparable qualification
  • Completed training as a safety specialist
  • Relevant work experience in the field
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Good German language skills, both written and spoken
