OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Inspects finished products, products being processed, incoming materials, parts and assemblies for conformance to company and customer standards.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Checks randomly selected samples, and verifies compliance to standards
• Performs measurements according to inspection procedure
• Maintains retain samples before, during, and after production run
• Reports conditions requiring immediate correction
• Uses advanced inspection methods to develop and conduct quality programs
• Keeps records and makes reports indicating results of inspections
• Determines disposition of finished product by judging product acceptability in comparison to specifications
• Determines acceptability of rework by conducting inspections and physical tests of reworked product
• May inspect work areas to detect unsafe conditions
• Maintains training documentation for machine operators
• Trains according to existing checklist and verifies operator comprehension of contents

OTHER DUTIES
- may relieve machine operators for breaks/lunches
- performs other duties as required


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE AND/OR TRAINING

• High School diploma or GED required
• 1+ years of manufacturing or assembly experience
• 3+ years of quality inspector experience

Pay:
$ $21.00 per hour
