ResponsibilitiesPerform functions prior to, during and following electrophysiology procedures.+ Facilitate all aspects of set up and development including responsibility and functionality of all electrophysiology (EP) lab equipment and troubleshooting equipment technical problems.

Facilitate and provide Tilt Table Testing.+ Assist physician in instrumentation, pacing and recording activities during EP procedures and facilitate proper recording and storage of data.+ Perform device interrogation of inpatients and post-operative device interrogation.+ Function as coordinator and patient liaison between physicians and outpatient clinical care, including direct involvement in patient relations.

Schedule outpatient visits and inpatient procedures including coordinating necessary clinical objectives prior to procedure.


RequirementsLicensure / Certification / Registration:

• Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) preferred. Cardiographic Tech specializing in Electrophysiology credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) preferred.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
