Description

We are looking for a social pedagogue, educator, special education teacher, or similar professionals in Turlock.

Full-time or part-time starting immediately (m/f/d).

About the facility:

We are an intensive pedagogical children and youth welfare facility for children aged 5 and above who are unable to live in their original system for various reasons. Our facility consists of two courtyards, each with seven young people living according to SGB VIII, and two teams with a total of 25 employees (pedagogy, agriculture, housekeeping) who make everyday life successful. In addition to the two courtyards, there are also horses, pigs, cats, chickens, ducks, and private dogs.

Currently, the young people are between 7 and 16 years old. The courtyards offer many opportunities for ideas and joint projects with the young people, as we are continuously developing. The young people enjoy being physically active, going on outings, and participating in activities, and they create their own adventures on the property. They need support in managing their daily lives, social interactions, and appointments according to their age and development.

We are trauma-pedagogically oriented and combine concepts of trauma pedagogy, animal-assisted intervention, adventure education, and new/systemic authority. Everyday life and concepts offer many opportunities to promote the young people
