    Job Summary:

    Qualifications

    • Graduate from an accredited APRN or PA school
    • Three years of cardiology, cardiovascular or critical care experience preferred but not required.
    • Licensed in the state of Florida or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions) Board Certified
    • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Life Support Course (ALS or ACLS) and certification
    • Basic EKG course required to include BLS certification
    • This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved)

    Responsibilities

    • Help to improve positive outcomes for patients as a PA or APRN for a very busy Cardiology practice
    • You will manage efficient flow of outpatient and inpatient cardiac and testing care to include but not limited to screening and assessments, consults, cardiac clearance work up, communication with referring physicians, ordering outpatient testing, gathering results, communication with patients on status of testing and proposed procedure, do all follow ups visits with patient. Ensure patients meet NCD guidelines for treatment and order all required testing pre and post procedure to support Interventional and Electrophysiology physicians.
    • You will educate patients and families regarding treatment Plan and Procedure, medication instructions pre and post procedure
    • Customer service skills to all that we serve Physicians, coworkers, patients and family
    • Effective communication and ability to prioritize clinical and administrative tasks
    • Strong organizational and management skills

    Schedule

    • Schedule consists of rotation of 1 week on, 1 week off to include providing support outpatient setting seeing hospital or follow up clinical patients in clinic, to include providing inpatient rounding support in hospital. Clinic setting 50%, inpatient rounding setting 50%.
