The mission of Citizens of the World Charter Schools East Valley (CWC East Valley) is to provide a socio-economically, culturally and racially diverse community of students in the heart of the San Fernando Valley with an intellectually challenging, experiential learning environment that develops each individual student's confidence, potential and individual responsibility as citizens of the world in which we live.

We are located in Valley Village, CA.

Our VISTA will work on social media planning, fundraising efforts, volunteer recruitment and management systems, and communications systems for our families.

We are seeking a motivated individual who enjoys working on a small team. They are organized and detail oriented. Our VISTA will take part in all professional development opportunities that are offered to our Operations team. Our VISTA will serve from August 2024 to August 2025.

Member Duties:

The VISTA at Citizens of the World East Valley will be part of the 24-25 Up2Us Sports VISTA nationwide cohort of 41 members.

The East Valley Community VISTA will collaborate with our Enrollment and Recruitment team to expand our Volunteer Program and double the number of volunteers that are cleared and volunteer with our organization.

The East Valley VISTA will also create a strong social media plan as well as refine communications systems for our families.
