Job DescriptionSalary:

UpSlope Advisors is looking for a rockstar Cloud Architect to join our team This person will provide crucial support to the Customer Care Support Center (CCSC) Desk Support and Management services for a local government agency.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Provide technical leadership and guidance on the adoption of cloud services and technologies.
Design secure and scalable cloud architectures that meet government security standards and compliance requirements.
Lead the implementation and deployment of cloud solutions, including infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and optimization.
Implement and enforce security best practices in cloud architectures, ensuring compliance with government security standards.
Manage and optimize cloud costs, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
Collaborate with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide technical expertise.
Implement monitoring and performance management tools to ensure the health and performance of cloud-based systems.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including architecture diagrams, configuration details, and operational procedures.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Certification in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect).
Strong understanding of government security standards and compliance requirements.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Proven experience as a cloud architect, preferably in a government contracting environment.
