- Registered PE Licensed in NC (or able to obtain within 6 months of hire)
- Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering with minimum 4-years professional experience or BS Engineering Technology with minimum 8-years professional experience
- 4-6 years working in an Engineering position in a small to medium size firm focusing on Commercial/Residential Structural Engineering Services
- 2-3 years' experience in Residential Engineering
- Familiar with NC Building Code and Residential Building Code
- Experience interfacing with customers to define/quote project and complete project work
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- Strong, professional presentation and communication skills

Job DescriptionIn this lead role you will be a key contributor in accomplishing overall Engineering Services annual revenue goals through your own work contribution and the review/sealing of EI associate's work. As part of the Engineering Services team, you will assist the Engineering Manager in identifying continuous improvement opportunities and developing EI associates to achieve higher levels of project throughput and complexity.
Strong communication skills are a must, both written and verbal. You are a problem solver, self-starter and have a strong attention to detail and organization. You are collaborative and customer focused. We're looking for someone with 4-6 years of experience in the structural engineering industry and is North Carolina PE certified.
We don't expect you to meet every job requirement, but you should have a proven record of completing complex project plans, sealing work, achieving weekly/monthly revenue targets and demonstrate a strong individual contributor engineering skill set.
