The Hohenloher Hospital and Hohenloher Senior Care are non-profit organizations under Christian sponsorship, providing comprehensive medical and nursing care for the people of Hohenlohekreis with around 1000 employees.

Approximately 12,000 patients are treated inpatient and 21,500 outpatient each year. More than 1,000 children are born annually in our maternity ward.

Our Geriatric Competence Center and nine local senior centers are trusted by many elderly patients and over 400 residents for their high quality care.

Together, these facilities form a forward-thinking network under the umbrella of the BBT Group.


We are looking for a Deputy Head of Nursing (m/f/d) to join our nursing team at the Dörzbach Senior Center.


Your responsibilities:

  • Supporting the holistic care and nursing of our residents, enabling them to live safely, independently, and with dignity
  • Ensuring proper documentation and management of medications
  • Assisting in monitoring the quality of structure, processes, and outcomes, as well as managing and overseeing admissions
  • Staff planning (shift and absence planning using electronic time tracking) with substitution management
  • Leading and supervising employees, particularly nursing apprentices, and providing advice to family members and residents on nursingrelated issues

We are looking for someone with:

  • A degree as a staterecognized elderly care nurse (m/f/d), health and nursing nurse (m/f/d), pediatric nurse (m/f/d), or an equivalent qualification
