**Work Hours/Shift:**

Full Time, Days

**You Will Be Responsible For:**

Assures that all foods are cooked to the state of being done and holds foods in safe zones,

Cleans and sanitizes all work environments,

Cooks and bakes all hot foods for patient tray line and/or cafeteria servery,

Modifies any food to meet various diets as required,

Sets up food for cafeteria server,

Sets up food for patient tray line,

Serves on patient tray line and/or cafeteria servery as directed,

Assists in the ordering of food stock as appropriate,

Qualifications

**What You Will Need:**

Minimum of a High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred

Previous cook/baker experience preferred

**Job Summary:**

This is an entry level cook/baker position. Individual maintains the responsibility for the cooking and/or baking of all hot foods including entrees, vegetables, starches, etc. for the department. This task should be done in such a manner to ensure the highest quality of product, efficient utilization of time and cost containment.
