    At Diverzify, the Commercial Licensing Specialist manages the Diverzfiy entities, identifying any obligations or requirements necessary to maintain good standing per State, and works closely with Diverzify Sales, Accounting and Contracts teams (and others, as applicable). The Commercial Licensing Specialist is required to stay current with State requirements relevant to obtaining or maintaining licenses; and maintain files of resource documents, such as copies of current requirements, licensing applications, and other relevant materials. Additional responsibilities include working with State and Municipal agencies to obtain the necessary business and construction licenses for new project sites when requested from the project teams.

    Here's what we are looking for...
    • Secure and Maintain State Business Licenses.
    • Complete State Contractor License Registration.
    • Complete County and Municipal Contractor Registration Application or renewal (when/where necessary).
    • Prepare and submit new state registrations and file necessary licensing applications to ensure licenses are current.
    • Track and manage renewals to ensure timely filings to keep licenses active and in good standing.
    • Ensures that all licenses, registrations, and certifications to support operations are identified, obtained, and maintained, including compliance filings with State Procurement Departments, Secretary of State Annual Business Filings (updating insurance, financials, etc.) or other State agencies.
    • Manage the payment of invoices for new or renewed registration applications.
    • Complete applications for License and Permit Bond requests and renewals as required for some licenses.
    • Monitor all required licensing and identify any industry-specific licensing requirements.
    • Communicate with state government entities related to licensure and certification filing requirements.
    Job Requirements:

    • Ability to work with all levels of internal department, management, and staff, as well as outside clients and vendors.
    • Excellent planning and organizational skills, including attention to detail and follow-through.
    • Competent in problem-solving, decision-making skills, and ability to multi-task.
    • Is helpful, respectful, and approachable, and maintains an exceptional client service mindset.
    • Must have a strong work ethic.
    • A combination of training, education, and experience that is equivalent to the qualifications listed above and that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience in the Construction industry is preferred but not required.
    • Proficient with Teams, MS Excel, Word, and Outlook preferred.
    • Experience with Licensing is preferred but not required
    • 2+ years' experience managing corporate licensing portfolios is preferred but not required.
    • Bachelor's in a related field of study is a plus.?
