    Description

    A major university campus is looking for a Principal Information Security Architect. You'll be the technical subject matter expert and security champion for the university, as part of its larger effort to modernize its security operations. You'll report directly to the CISO and make architectural decisions regarding endpoint security, network security, application security, vulnerability management, risk assessment, and much more. You'll also act as the liaison for the CISO to help champion new security initiatives and adoption across university departments.

    This role is 10% on-site in Los Angeles.

    Required Qualifications

    • 8+ years of experience in security (cybersecurity, computer science, information technology)
    • 5+ years of experience in security architecture across various security initiatives
    • In-depth knowledge of Endpoint Security, Network Security Design, Application Security, Vulnerability Management and Risk Assessment
    • Experience in higher education a plus but not required
    • Strong communication skills and previous experience working with teams to adopt new security practices
