    Job DescriptionProject Implementation EngineerSummary:

    The Project Implementation Engineer is responsible for configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting IP network solutions. This role requires strong technical skills, including experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL, Linux, VMware, and proficiency with network test equipment and protocols. The engineer will work closely with customers, ensuring the successful implementation of projects while maintaining a high standard of service and technical expertise. The position involves significant travel and the ability to work off-hour shifts to minimize disruptions to customer operations.

    Requirements:
    • Education and Experience:
      • College degree with a technical focus.
      • 2+ years of experience in configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting IP network solutions.
    • Technical Skills:
      • Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL, Linux, VMware.
      • Proficiency with network test equipment and protocols (IP network analyzers, SSH, FTP, Cisco and Linux command line prompts, etc.)
      • Strong skills with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
    • Certifications and Knowledge:
      • Preferred certifications: Cisco, CompTIA, Juniper, Nokia.
      • Experience with Cisco, Aviat, Nokia, MNI, L3Harris, Motorola, Tait, Kenwood.
      • Experience in deploying and troubleshooting digital voice communication systems.
      • Knowledge of radio communication systems, RF, microwave, fiber optics.

    Additional Responsibilities:
    • Travel:
      • Attend kickoff meetings, initial site surveys, staging, acceptance testing, field optimization/troubleshooting, field acceptance testing, cutover, and post-cutover support.
      • Often spend a full week in the market.
